Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Braak alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: She was born into a rich family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She is greedy; and she has money and likes to spend it
