Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He likes to wear ponchos typically of a light white in addition to tight pants. His brown hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His green eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Hobart was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Hobart's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born in the north to a Guard, Reynard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Reynard abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and balancing his hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She took after her father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting dire rats, the young Ea began to lead the lost caravan. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and someone believes her a fraud

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants to get laid.
