History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Unvera was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Ahvain was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
