History: He got into the Bookbinder business at a young age. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Fortune-teller they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bookbinder, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Description: She has the majority of her body covered in plate. Her brown hair is greasy and uncared for. Her gray eyes peer out from beneath her small brown hat.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and someone believes her a fraud

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He wears dull white sweaters, loose tan pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed warhammer, just in case, marred by sweets. He has no hair. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the west. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Glassblower. He's also a talented Carter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Description: This late middle aged man wears brown leather gloves, a brown jacket, and tight pants and is in decent physical shape. His brown fur is long and unkept. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shifting grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shifting. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
