History: Kasdeya was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Kasdeya alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tieflings in Abad's homeland. Abad decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
