One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: An older man who is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down, he is not a threatening figure. His crest is rusty and curly. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is a Tailor first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. The war was a terrible time for him, and Nadarr does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: 4'10" and muscular, this eastern woman typically wears white cloth garments or leather armor. Her hair is black and very short. She has hazel eyes.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: She is an exceptionally muscular looking southern young adult. She wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her mace with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. Her blue hair is knotted and matted. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Tieflings.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she seems to be bored by most things
