History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Nala lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A freak accident while working with her Barrister mother left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and doesn't want to be a miller and was forced into it by his family
