History: Anne hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Anne was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Navigator for the past few years.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Lucan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
