History: Emerald was born with his father's beautiful face. Through the years after Emerald was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Emerald's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Rosamund was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against orcs; and a rival would like him out of the picture
