History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. Engong enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She got into the Sage business at a young age. A gifted student she started as a Engraver, but she got bored and became a Sage. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
