History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Ruloth alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She wears a worn and beaten armor. Her cinnamon fur, when down, is lengthy. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Barkeep hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hand crossbow.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she's looking for her big break

Description: He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly hand crossbows and hammers. His golden hair is cut short. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he has decided he is irredeemable
