He found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gifted student he started as a Unemployed, but he got bored and became a Blacksmith. He tends to his Blacksmith job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Map Maker arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He is well dressed, constantly wearing a tan suit, pastel shirt, and red tie. His hair is silver, silky, and of moderate length. His green unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
