History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 4 years.

Motivation: She wants revenge against illithids; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: This light-skinned male wears yellow painted combat armor at almost all times. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. He has a blonde handlebar mustache and slicked back blonde hair. His half smiles and hazel eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. After a long history of fighting, Zanna and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and a strong sense of loyalty to dragonborn people

Description: This late middle aged woman is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured and is in decent physical shape. Her hair is long and silver with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small white clips. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her parents were killed by goblins in a raid when she was still a young child. The goblins captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.
