Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Fisher who has hired him part-time. The war was a terrible time for him, and Kothûg does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Shoemaker. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She worked as a nervous Engraver and found it very stressful. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
