Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thervan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he's looking for his big break

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Taklinn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Taklinn and his spouse have recently divorced.

A freak accident while working with her Layabout mother left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world
