Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His white hair is smooth and relatively long. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Ûshbaka hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His eyes are amber and catlike.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. Nuraval is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and wants to raise his children well

Description: She dresses like a well dressed Unemployed does. Her hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her black eyes.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Unemployed born in the past three hundred years. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Soapmaker profession.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her first spouse was a Soapmaker, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Soapmaker they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Unemployed, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Description: He is wearing a long, brown cloak. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly hammers and swords. His golden hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Taklinn's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Taklinn was born with his mother's beautiful face. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Being a Mason kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
