History: The child of a Herbalist, who enjoyed hunting, Gardain was taken on many hunting expeditions. He worked as a nervous Knight and found it very stressful. He bought a ceremonial dagger and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. After a long history of fighting, Portia and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Dimble hails from a village terrorized by illithids. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
