History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Carlin grew up listening to her father's many stories. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His hair, while still mostly dark red, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are likewise white. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Thamuz alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Now he works as a writing tutor during his time off.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. She has no crest. She has several tiny aquamarine earrings on each ear.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Sculptor. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and money/treasure

Description: He has a large yellow mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his white robe. He carries with him a set of maces, each one with a opal on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His white hair is greasy and uncared for. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He has all his life been fascinated with poetry.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Chad was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
