History: He was born into a rich family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Umpen never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: The child of a Butcher, who enjoyed hunting, Efferil was taken on many hunting expeditions. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Philomena was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her childhood dream was to be a Gardener, but she was a colossal failure. She has worked as a Fortune-teller like her mother before her.
