Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He's also a talented Bookbinder, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. She moved out south to avoid the crime she committed. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: Geva is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. The war was a terrible time for her, and Geva does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Shoemaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
