History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was granted martial powers by her dying brother.
