History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Paelias was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Orc companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Duvamil isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Dilettante business.

History: Duvamil was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is a Jeweler first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is a great chef.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gifted student he started as a Crown-heir, but he got bored and became a Jeweler. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and wants to open a new tavern

Her red leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her black boots flare out at the collars. Her black crest is still thick. Her eyes are likewise red. Her teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Perra lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister
