Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Oren is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born into a rich family. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Balam speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Balam was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and a deep hatred of giants
