History: He was born into a rich family. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Thorin was born the youngest of three triplets. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Bendoo hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the south were limited. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She wants revenge against dire rats.

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His auburn hair has been sun bleached extensively. His hazel eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.
