Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Gnomish culture. The war was a terrible time for her, and Griselda does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with his brother.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.
