History: Ernest lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Kali is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Kali hails from a village terrorized by illithids. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
