History: He was born in a small island village. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. His red hair and beard is wavy and long. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: The child of a Sellsword, who enjoyed hunting, Baern was taken on many hunting expeditions. Baern liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
