History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His hair is golden, silky, and of moderate length. His green eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ghâm was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Description: She is an attractive woman, lean and moderately muscular. She wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with broad hat. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are green.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shava fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and many drow want her driven away

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Gnome, and stands approximately 3'4". He wears a tan cloak and cross-gartered blue stockings, and his gloved hand is found clutching a glaive. His black hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Cockaby is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
