When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears dull violet sweaters, loose black pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed axe, just in case. He keeps his white hair in a flapper bob. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Jocelyn is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He takes great joy in being the best Scribe in town.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Scribe work with an outfit from a few towns over. Scribe work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
