History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ilanis grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Beast was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Beast's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Beast and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
