History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Naal was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Carter. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady green eyes.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Tordrid was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Tordrid was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
