Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Kelter grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Kelter. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Cory alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.
