Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Pûgrish was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Being a Cartwright kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the east. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Interpreter for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Interpreter responsibilities is difficult; and wants to raise her children well

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her singing with anyone who is interested.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and to reunite with her absent father
