History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Zook was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: Barbena is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. A freak accident while working with her Performer mother left her crippled. She became a Shipwright soon after.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
