History: Born in the north to a Dyer, Lidda learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Dyer responsibilities is difficult.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her parents were killed by illithids in a raid when she was still a young child. The illithids captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Aldous alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He is greedy; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it
