History: Drifting hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Drifting was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Seamstress arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Through the years after Meriele was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Meriele's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.
