Description: A pudgy man standing about 4'2" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He is wearing a long, grey, dusty cloak. He has dyed his greying silver hair a little too much giving a sharp silver color. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Cairn was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new animal trainer responsibilities is difficult

She carries with her a set of pickaxes, each one with a emerald on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. She wears a Stetson hat to hide her balding. She has hazel eyes.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying east to reunite her family. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
