History: Shivering hails from a village terrorized by orcs. One day when Shivering was young, his mother was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his mother dropped to the ground dead. His mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Shivering was heart-stricken from the event, and his father started working long hours to provde for them. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Rael isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Half-Elven unity. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the west were limited. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Rael was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
