History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Kairon and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Miner born in the past three hundred years. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and further expansion of business

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and violet, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Her auburn hair, when down, is lengthy. Her gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Through the years after Arha was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Arha's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many gnolls want her driven away.

Description: This northern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized brown coat. Her white fur is matted, messy, and big. Her yellow eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.
