History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Barbena was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Being a Performer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: Kadana hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her painting career. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing painting.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
