Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Hlin was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Thorin was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
