Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Joan embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
