Description: 2'11" and muscular, this southern man wears a white shirt with thin black vertical stripes and blue pants. He wears a broad hat to hide his balding. He has several tiny ruby earrings on each ear.
Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Guard arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Burto never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
Motivation: Money/treasure.

Description: This man wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His fur is cut close to his head. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: Pelt hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his dancing career. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs. She has done her best to style her red hair to look like a famous performer. Her eyes are brown and she is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Spice Merchant business.
History: The child of a Farmer, who enjoyed hunting, Gurdis was taken on many hunting expeditions. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.
Motivation: Regain custody of her son.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with music. She constantly tries to fill her life with music. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.
History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
