History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dwarves in Jarana's homeland. Jarana decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Painter. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he would like to get married and retire

History: He was born in the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the west were limited. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
