He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barkeep hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
