History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting orcs, the young Barendd began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
