History: Born in the south to a Navigator, Baelitae learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
