Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. A true patriot, Oriff would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Oriff lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: Varis speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.
