History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Shepherd for hire.
