History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Manfred liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Trail grew up listening to his father's many stories. Trail was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Scribe. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He has all his life been fascinated with poetry.

History: He got into the Sailor business at a young age. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
